CanRoyal Resort sits on Madila Beach Road, on the quiet eastern edge of Tangalle. Ten rooms, a shaded courtyard, a lamplit terrace, and a restaurant where dinner runs later than anyone planned.
The property was previously known as Eleven 11 Resort. Under CanRoyal it keeps the same setting and the same team, with the consistency international travellers expect — the Canadian half of a Canadian–Sri Lankan story.

Ten rooms, no two quite the same. Some open onto a balcony, some sit under a pitched timber ceiling; all are kept simple, clean and cool.

A high pitched timber ceiling and a hand-built headboard, with room to spread out. The quietest rooms on the property.
Balcony Room
Doors open onto a private balcony among the palms — the right room for a slow first coffee. Five rooms have balconies.
Family Room
More space for family mornings — room for bags, beach towels and children who wake with the sun.

CanRoyal is not a beachfront hotel — and that is the point. You get the quiet of a garden property, with the sand close enough that you walk there barefoot.
CanRoyal Resort is not beachfront and has no private beach or swimming pool. The ornamental pond on the terrace is decorative and not for swimming. The distance shown is approximate and should be measured before publication.
A wide, quiet stretch of sand
Tangalle’s coast is long and rarely crowded. Swim in the morning when the water is calmest, walk the shoreline at dusk, and ask the team which end of the bay is safest on the day.
